About Us

We cover the tools that run modern HR — without the vendor spin.

HRTechSaaS exists because finding honest, practical information about HR software is surprisingly hard. Most reviews are surface-level. Most “comparison” articles were written by someone who has never opened the product. Most “best of” lists are quietly pay-to-play.

We got tired of that. So we built something better.

Our Mission

To be the most useful independent resource for HR leaders, people-ops teams, and operators who need to understand, evaluate, and choose HR technology — without wading through marketing fluff or biased recommendations.

What We Cover

HRTechSaaS is focused on the HR technology stack: the software, platforms, and infrastructure that modern teams use to hire, onboard, manage, develop, and retain people.

That includes:

  • Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) — What separates good from great, and who each tool is actually built for
  • HRIS & HCM Platforms — Core HR, payroll, and employee records systems
  • Onboarding & Engagement Tools — The software that shapes new hire experience and ongoing retention
  • Performance Management — Reviews, OKRs, continuous feedback, and the platforms that support them
  • Recruiting & Sourcing — Talent intelligence, sourcing tools, and the AI reshaping how hiring works
  • Compensation & Benefits Tech — Tools for comp planning, benchmarking, and benefits administration
  • Workforce Analytics — Headcount planning, people data, and the platforms that turn it into decisions
  • Compliance & Legal Tech — Tools that help HR teams stay on the right side of labour law
  • Learning & Development — LMS platforms, skills infrastructure, and training delivery

We write for HR Directors, People Ops leads, CHROs at scaling companies, and anyone responsible for making HR technology decisions.

How We Work

Every piece of content on HRTechSaaS is produced with a consistent process:

  • We read primary documentation — product docs, pricing pages, release notes
  • We test products where we have access, and clearly note when we haven’t
  • We talk to practitioners who use these tools in real organisations
  • We update content when products change meaningfully
  • We disclose affiliate relationships and sponsored content clearly and prominently

We do not accept payment to alter editorial opinions. We do not write positive reviews in exchange for free access. If a product has a problem, we say so.

Our Voice

Direct. Practical. No filler. We write the way a sharp colleague would brief you before a vendor demo — honest, informed, and focused on what actually matters for your decision.

We are not trying to be the loudest voice in HR tech. We are trying to be the most trustworthy one.

Our Promise

Honest opinions, even when they’re inconvenient. If a popular platform has a painful UX or a pricing model that doesn’t scale, we’ll say so.

No fluff. Every article should give you something you can actually use — a clearer understanding, a sharper evaluation framework, or a direct answer to a question you were going to spend hours researching.

Full transparency. Affiliate links are disclosed. Sponsored content is labelled. Our methodology is published. Nothing is hidden.

We keep up. HR tech moves fast — acquisitions, rebrands, pricing changes, new AI features. We do our best to keep content current and note when things have changed.
